Fire Protection

The safe has a two-hour, 350F factory rating. It has been tested at temperatures that go as high as 1850F.

This signifies a combination-locked safe that is crafted to provide a higher level of protection against attacks. 

This means that using common electrical and mechanical tools to break into this safe won’t work.

Along with these, this home safe can effectively resist entry for a working time of about 30 minutes when attacked with carbide drills, cutting wheels, power saws, and so on.

This makes it one of the best burglary safes on the market.

Durability

This AMSEC safe is made using only the best materials.

The body has a protective thickness of 3.5 inches, enclosing high-density fire-resistant composite materials, along with nuggets and steel fibers.

Its door has an overall thickness of 5.75 inches and is made with a 2.75-inch defense barrier of inner and outer steel plates that create a single structure.

Furthermore, the safe offers a solid steel hard plate that covers the entire door.

It also comes with a factory anchor hole to anchor the safe into wooden or concrete flooring.

To further make this safe durable, the makers have equipped it with a U.L. listed Group II key changeable lock that is heavily protected.

Storage

Along with so many features, AMSEC has also equally given importance to this safe’s storage.

There is ample space within to store your valuables, and there is a shelf that divides the space into two.

Overall, the inside dimensions of the safe are 18” H x 14” W x 12”D.

The AMSEC AMVAULT CF-1814 Safe is not the cheapest option on the market, but for all the high-end features it comes with, you can be certain that this safe will give you great value for money.

The AMSEC AMVAULT CF-1814 Safe is almost everything you need from a good safe to keep your valuables secure.

Its overall construction is fantastic, and it can keep even burglars at bay. It has an excellent fire protection rating, too.

The only downside is that it does not have good water protection features.
